The Wangaratta Aerodrome’s new and improved facilities were officially opened on 6 December 2021, boosting the region’s tourism, business and emergency response potential.
Councillor Dean Rees, Mayor of Wangaratta was joined by Senator the Hon. Bridget McKenzie, Minister for Emergency Management and National Recovery and Resilience, and Minister for Regionalisation, Regional Communications and Regional Education in officially opening the commercial hanger.
“The completion of this project is a win for the Rural City of Wangaratta,” said Cr Rees.
