The $6 million redevelopment of the Railway Precinct will create a welcoming gateway to Wangaratta for visitors and locals travelling by rail.
The project will make it easier to walk and ride through the precinct by providing shaded pedestrian links and introducing green spaces.
The development includes streetscape upgrades of Cusack, Docker and Norton Street, a promenade and forecourt arrival plaza in Norton Street and public art exhibitions.
