Advanced Manufacturing & Innovation Tour for North East Manufacturers

AusIndustry and NORTH Link are inviting manufacturers from across North East Victoria to a behind-the-scenes tour of leading manufacturing and innovation sites in Melbourne’s North.

What’s planned?

• 9:45 am – La Trobe University Digital Innovation Hub (Bundoora)  Start the day with a presentation on how smart technologies like AI, IoT and 5G are reshaping manufacturing. You’ll get a close look at the Digital Innovation Hub and its role in supporting industry transformation.

• Sutton Tools (Thomastown) Visit Sutton Tools to see how they’re using Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing to improve performance and reduce costs. Their SMART Centre brings together digital technologies, research and manufacturing expertise.

• Integra Systems (Broadmeadows) Integra Systems has transformed its operations into a fully digitised, advanced manufacturing facility. Learn from their firsthand experience in navigating Industry 4.0, digital supply chains, and automation. This session will provide practical insights into digitisation, waste minimisation, and circular economy principles—essential for manufacturers looking to stay competitive, highlighting the challenges, solutions, and benefits of adopting digital manufacturing technologies

Lunch will be provided, along with tea and coffee on arrival.
